Initially a business lawyer and subsequently the communications director for a major international law firm, Kate left the law behind her to set up the Paris-based online magazine NETTEMENT CHIC in 2012. Named one of France’s leading digital entrepreneurs by Madame Figaro in 2015, she created MAISON ST HONORÉ with Alexandra Perrin in 2016.
Kate, who is as at ease in French as she is in her native English tongue, grew up between the south of England and Provence.
Having graduated with a masters in French and Italian from the University of Oxford she spent seven years in LONDON, lived in PARIS for ten years and now commutes between the two cities.
After graduating from France’s leading design school Esag-Penninghen in 2008, Alexandra started her career in museography and signage, discovered the world of advertising through a stint at PUBLICIS 133 and then worked for PECLERS, the Paris-based trend forecasting agency.
She subsequently became the Artistic Director of SMALLable, an experience which allowed her to develop a deeper understanding of both e-commerce and fashion. She then produced MELIJOE’s first campaign and became Creative Director of the brand. SÉZANE, MAISON PÈRE, CAREL, CHATELLES, ATELIER SWAROVSKI, BALIBARIS & FIGARET have been a natural continuation into the world of women’s fashion and accessories
Alexandra grew up in AFRICA & Vence in the south of France and now lives between LONDON & PARIS.
